Little B and his temper
My son, B, is 16 months old. What I love about him is his personality, his friendliness and flirtiness, his smile and giggle, his love of pets and the outdoors, and his kisses.
What I am starting to struggle with is his stubborness, which he gets from his dad. The child has a mind of his own and when T or I try to stop something that he is doing -- he goes ballistic. I don't know what to do sometimes. He has a meltdown. Since he cannot verbalize much, he whines, cries and sometimes screams! This can be especially unsettling when we are in a store.
Now, don't get me wrong, it is not like he does this all the time. But it needs to be addressed. Talking to him like a rational person during these meltdowns does not work. This is the stuff they need to address in parenting classes!!!
Boys will be boys. But we are working on it.
