Happy New Year!

I know I am a little behind, but my procrastination still hasn't made it to the top of my resolution list yet (and it probably never will).

So Happy New Year everyone. We had a busy and yet laid-back holiday break. I was off work for 8 days, but poor Tuck only had three off. We started the Christmas celebration by heading down to Tuck's hometown to visit both sides of his family for two nights. That was a great time and so fun to see his extended family. Some whom have never met the little guy. Let's just say he didn't lack in the attention area.

Then on Christmas Eve we headed back home for church and to spend time with my mom and grandma. That is always my favorite! Our church is really big and can seat over a thousand. But you need to get there about an hour ahead of the service in order to get a seat. Plus we have the best folk choir to listen to throughout the evening. Just love it!

We hosted Christmas morning at our house with my small family. It was fun to see the little ones open their presents ages 1, 2, and 3 this year. There were no fights or mishaps which made the day even better. The little guy got some great toys, mega blocks, a magna doodle, home depot tools and a micorwave. He loved them all.

The rest of my time off, was just mostly me and the little guy. I have to admit, I got a little bored. I give you stay-at-home-mom's a lot of credit. The problem was that the weather was crap and rainy the whole week, so we couldn't go outside, he doesn't like to nap for me -at all, and we missed having daddy around. So needless to say, I was a little happy to come back to work.

We rang in the New Year with Tuck's brother and dad, who spent a couple days with us. Let's just say this, lots of football and food and boys, boys, boys. I needed a little break, so I went and saw a movie with my mom.

But it was a great time had by all, we are very blessed to be given another year here on Earth with wonderful family and friends.

My resolution for the year is to be more positive and happy!

So Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too :)

And no credit needed for us SAHM's. OK, maybe I'll just speak for myself cuz I'm just as bored and like to whine about it on me blog more often than I should ;-) That's when I let the kids play with knives and mix bleach with ammonia, so to spice things up around here.

Oh, just so you know, I'm just kidding. Those things are just way too dangerous for kids my age. I try to be more age appropriate so they can learn, so I start them off slower with things like letting them play with electrical outlets ;-)

muahahahaha.
