Hello Again!

Well, It has almost been two months since my last post -- I never thought I would be that busy to neglect blogging. Sorry to all 4 of my readers!

It has been an amazing couple of months. Busy, tiring and yet, still amazing.

First up, B-man turned 3 on Jan. 25. We had a great party for him with his family. It was a CARS theme. I was sad to realize that he is no longer a baby, hardly a toddler and now a little boy. He is wearing underwear except for at nights, never has accidents, sleeps in a twin bed with no gaurd rail, and goes to school like a champ. Where did the last three years go? I love the stage he is in now. His personality is great, he talks non-stop, loves his little sister, likes to help in the kitchen and is fun to play with -- no matter what we are playing.

Here are some pics of him and his party:

Hannah turned 6 months and tomorrow turns seven. She is crawling like an inch worm. Two hands forward then she pulls her legs. She can really cruise. She is getting better at sitting up. Unfortunately, she is really long but has super short legs which makes it hard for her to sit up because she is top heavy. But she does pretty well. She still doesn't like to eat food, which we have been trying for the last 3 months. She loves playing with her brother, chasing him with daddy and playing on the floor with her toys.

Here are some pics of her:

Student teaching is going so well. I couldn't have asked for a better placement. I am in first grade and absolutely loving it!! I only have 8 more days with them which makes me sad. Then I have two weeks off before starting 6th grade. I know I will enjoy that placement too, but I am seeing my calling in the first grade. I have started to hear of job openings for fall which makes me sick to my stomach thinking about how hard the job search will be. But I am so happy to know that all the schooling, time away from my family and hard work is paying off -- because I have truly found what I am supposed to do in life.

This winter has been a hard one. Super cold and so much snow and ice here. Record amounts. It has been difficult to get the kids outside. B-man likes to shovel with daddy and play outside and chop ice. But we are really looking forward to spring. I have had a cold for 6 out of the 7 weeks of student teaching and so has my family.

We have been able to see a lot of Tuck's family over the last couple of months, which has been a lot of fun. Tuck is doing well with his job (almost his year anniversary already) and as a family we are doing great.

I hope you are all having a wonderful winter as well.
