Spring Break!!

I can't believe it. Student teaching is half over. I am sad to know that I am finished with my first grade placement. I loved the school, kids, staff and teacher. It was just wonderful. The kids bought me flowers, wrote letters to the principal to tell her why she should hire me, and all gave me hugs when they left. I want to get a job in that school so badly.

So my spring break has arrived. I have eleven school days off before starting my 6th grade placement. I am glad for the time to re-coup. I will be looking for job postings, getting all of my application materials in order and enjoying the time with my kids and family. I have applied to teach summer school in my hometown this summer. It will help me get some connections here and some money.

Miss Hannah is truly on the move now. She enjoys crawling all over the living room to get to her toys or to me to pick her up. She is just so darn cute. She is talking more and really becoming a fun part of the family. She sits and laughs at B-man or the dog all the time.

B-man is doing well, he is having a tough time at school lately. His notes home talk about his not listening or playing nice with friends. It is hard for me to hear because he is a good kid at home. I really want to talk with the teachers because I know that some of the actions he is learning at school. He is really enjoying the weather getting better so he can play outside more with his frisbees and riding his bike.
