Summer Lovin'

Well, having been on vacation with my family (hubby and B-man) for a week -- returning to work is absolutely no fun. Even though we stayed around home, just being able to hang out with my boys for seven days straight was good for me. We kept ourselves busy relaxing and enjoying the local festivities. Pictures will be coming soon, but here is a run-down of our time off of work.

Did a little shopping -- I got two new books for summer reading and T got two new cd's.
Visited with T's older sister and had dinner with her -- always a nice time.
Went to a state park and had a picnic, played in the sand and watched B throw his ball into the lake.
Went for multiple walks to parks and to get movies.
Helped my grandma at the farmer's market.
Played in the kiddie pool outside in the heat -- B-man enjoys the water.
Went to two, two-hour parades with mom and others. B got into the spirit of watching and waiting for candy and, of course, people watching.
Went to a neighbor-reunion pool party, great food, great company and the opportunity to cool off in a new pool.
Went to another state park and into a warmer lake. B enjoyed the sand and playing with other kids.
Picked up my nephew and had a sleep over and then took them to the second parade -- had a nice time with him.
Visited our house that is being built -- getting windows and roofed today! Only four more months until moving day (we hope).
Just being with my loving husband and beautiful boy made my week the best ever!

Work has been crazy, but I wanted to let you know that I am still here and blogging. I hope that everyone is enjoying the summer sun and making memories.

Wow, you have been busy!

We're looking into going on a little summer trip but I admit I'm a bit apprehensive with a 2 yr old and an 8 month old. Yikes. Still deciding.

I didn't know what had happened to you, I was getting nervous that you were done! So glad you are back.

We want to try camping and we may still this summer. He loves the outdoors and playing in the sand at beaches, I am just not so sure how the sleeping part will go.
