Weekend Wrap-up
Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. The weather here definitely improved and was gorgeous. We had a great weekend, filled with many enjoyable events. Here is the run-down:
1. Friday night, we had a late celebration of our anniversary and my mom's birthday (same day) and went out for a nice dinner -- just the four of us. It was nice to take mom out and have a great dinner. B-man enjoyed the salad bar, soup and countless crackers.
2. Saturday, the little guy and I spent some quality time together and went to the local farmer's market and visited with my mom and grandma. There I ran into Brianne's cousin and chatted with her about Belle's progress (she is doing well) and she told me that Brianne is pregnant!! So I am super excited, since none of my friends have had a baby yet. Brianne and I go way back to seventh grade, where we started playing b-ball together. She was my best friend in high school and we remained close throughout college. I was her maid of honor and our husbands got along right off the bat. We lived minutes a part when we were first married and just recently have they moved a couple hours away. They love the little guy and we have been talking a lot about babies lately. I talked with her on Sunday night and they are super excited and due on Easter Sunday. So, as you can see, I am just so happy for them.
3. Tuck and I went to a wedding, without B-man on Saturday evening. The reception was held where we had our reception. So, we were going down memory lane throughout the evening. Plus, it was the first time I wore a dress in two and a half years. And I looked pretty cute, if I do say so myself. My co-worker, Amber, and I spent the weeks before looking for a cute dress, shoes and earrings. And it went great! The wedding was a lot of fun and they looked so young and in love. Ahh, I remember those days. Just kidding.
4. Sunday was family fun day in our house. My mom, the little guy and I met my brother's family for a street, art festival and enjoyed that. It was super hot and had a lot of bees buzzing by, but it was nice to do something with the kids. Then, we proceeded to our house and did some work for mom. When Tuck came home from work, we went and showed them the progress on our house and had a great dinner. It was fun playing with my niece and nephew and actually not fighting with my brother.
So, there you have it. A great, fast weekend. I wish today was like that -- just a case of the Monday's over here. Hope you are all having a good Monday. I am off to class!

Sounds like you are super busy Trisha! Sounds like fun!
Wow--you had a busy weekend, but sounds like all fun stuff. I love weddings and outdoor festivals, especially if they involve food. :)
All great weekends are fast, aren't they? Too bad. Sounds like yours was a fun one.
