Black and Blue and Green all over
I am hurting, physically. The last two weekends, I have done nothing but stand for long periods of time and stain, varnish, varnish again and paint our house. The staining and varnishing went pretty well, all the windows are done!! But painting the kitchen and dining room this weekend nearly killed me. My body feels like I was hit by a truck. The rooms have a cathedral ceiling that made it extra fun to trim and paint. My shoulder feels out of place and hurts every time I lift it. My lower back is sore from being on the high ladder trimming and extending myself. But it was worth it. The room looks great and I love the color! It is called Rejuvenate and the green is lovely. I have always been a chicken when it comes to painting and the colors I choose, but with the high ceilings and the windows, the color looks awesome. (It better, cause I am NOT re-doing it!)
I will post pictures of the house soon, we are just too busy to take any. Next weekend should be our last one for working on the house. We will be staining all the doors and painting all the trimwork around the house. This will be a major project, but it will feel and look great when it is completed.
Hope all you fellow bloggers are having a great beginning of the week!

Oh I hear ya about the painting. I remember when we moved into our home, we had to repaint everything. Plus the moldings were ugly wood so that had to be primed and painted (twice). Ugh.
Our dining room and kitchen are green. I LOVE it but most people are so used to white they always mention the green when they come over. Out of their element I guess. Can't wait for the pics!
I'm so excited and happy that you are soooooo close to getting the house done!
Just remember how fantastic it will look when it's all done and you're moved in!
Yeah...so where are those pics, Trisha!?! j/k - know you're busy! I am super excited though! Now, we'll need pics of the B-man's room, too!
