Tradition
A couple of weeks ago, we decided to take a break from staining windows and went to look for our Christmas tree. In my family, we have always tagged a tree from a lot with thousands of beautiful trees. The day was gorgeous and we went as a family. The little guy enjoyed being able to run around looking at trees as small as he is and larger than we could ever need.
It was a great time and we found the perfect tree for our new house: 9:1/2 feet tall spruce. We will go cut it down after Thanksgiving and start the Christmas season. I can't wait!

Becky, We aren't in the house yet, we move the 17th! I can't wait. We are going to love it and we are welcome for visitors always!
NINE AND A HALF FEET!!! wow. I'm guessing you have a vaulted area for that or extremely high ceilings!
That's a really nice tradition!
