They call him Tuck
Yesterday, my darling husband, who I have been referring to as T told me that he would rather be talled Tuck on the blog. This made me laugh because he is the only person I know that is in love with a nickname that someone started for him years ago. I think he would rather be called Tuck than his real name.
He got this nickname after my grandma was introducing him to some of her friends about four years ago, and after two manhattans, she spit out every T name there was and then finally said his real name. My brother and his friends found this hilarious (you have to know my grandma) and for an entire weekend, called my poor hubby every T name in the book. When they got to Tuck, it stuck!
So, T, from now on I will call you Tuck -- to make you happy. Since I haven't said much about Tuck, here is a little list just for you.
1. Tuck is a twin. He has an older sister, his twin sister and an younger brother. Very nice family.
2. Tuck and I met in college during our second year. However, we had a couple classes together freshman year before we met and we remember each other.
3. Tuck is a sports FREAK. He loves to play baseball, softball, basketball, tennis and more. He loves to read the sports page, listen to sports talk radio and watch ESPN.
4. Tuck and I have been together for over five years.
5. Tuck is the "funniest man I know."
6. Tuck is predictable, reliable, loyal, lovable and handsome.
7. Tuck proposed to me on our second year of dating -- very romantically.
8. Tuck is a very hard worker and loves to provide for his family.
9. Tuck is a fabulous father. He loves to play with B, tell him stories and take him for walks. They have a great relationship.
10. Tuck is my soul mate. He has supported me with my decision to go back to school, he loves my family as his own and makes me happy every day.
Well, there you go Tuck. I hope you know that you are the only person I would want to share my crazy life with -- you make me smile and my heart skip a beat!

Ah, thanks sweetie! That means a lot to me that you thought of me in your new blogging life. I do like a little more than sports you know? I have a deeper love for you and "B-Man"
Skipping to a beat of my Own,
TUCK
