Lazy List
Here is a wrap-up of what has been going on lately.
1. Teaching in the middle school is very different from elementary school. The kids are cool, we are getting along nicely. I haven't taught anything yet. That starts next week. But the collaboration and bonding between the teachers is really lacking. That bums me out a lot because I enjoy getting to know others and learn from people. Not happening here.
2. Miss Hannah turned 8 months a couple days ago. She finally decided that she would like some teeth and is sprouting her first! She is starting to enjoy eating baby food and is way too cool for crawling and has moved onto bigger and better things like pulling herself up to the stone fireplace or tables. She falls every now and then and luckily has the padding to soften the blow to her bum.
3. B-man is loving the spring weather that has finally joined us. We have been taking a lot of walks lately and he and daddy spend a lot of time shooting hoops and playing golf. He has miniature golf clubs that he loves. He and I will be starting a mom and tot swimming class next week. It should be a lot of fun. We are going with our neighbor friends. The boys will love it, I won't love getting in a swimming suit.
4. I have applied for four positions and have three more to apply for. More and more positions have been posted and that gives me hope. I have heard from one district through a letter letting me know their timeline. At least it wasn't a rejection letter!
5. Tuck starts golf and softball soon. I am really excited because our neighbor friend is joining the softball team. I will have a friend to sit and watch the games with and B-man will have a boy to hang out with that he knows.
Well, thats it in a nut shell. Hope you are all well.

Fun update! A tooth - hurrah! I am glad that you found a mommy friend close by and are hanging together! And, I love you that heard something from a district - you want to work for them because they have some decency and respect for people! I miss seeing you and was just thinking about good 'ole days and SDC! :-)
p.s. Nothing on the house yet, but 3 showings this week, so at least things are picking up!
Lots of things going on! Lauren is almost 8 mos old and no teeth yet... I'm not excited for that little bit 'o joy. Good luck with the job searching!
